  • Anchorage International Film Festival

The Anchorage International Film Festival (AIFF) is Alaska’s premier event for independent filmmakers, dedicated to showcasing bold, thought-provoking films that challenge perspectives and push creative boundaries. With new leadership and an exciting lineup of categories, AIFF invites filmmakers, film enthusiasts, and the local community to come together to celebrate the transformative power of cinema.

  • FILM RANT

Committed to elevating the art and craft of filmmaking in Alaska. Each year, we bring together a vibrant community of filmmakers, from novices to seasoned professionals, to share, inspire, and learn from each other. Through our annual Film Rant event held in Anchorage, we showcase Alaskan-made short films, offer educational workshops led by industry experts, and provide a platform for networking and growth.

  • KING TECH HIGH SCHOOL

The Film, Audio & Video Production class offers all the skills and knowledge a student needs to launch a successful career in film, video  content creation or television. Students complete film and video projects while learning to work as part of a production team. The curriculum includes individual and multidisciplinary assignments geared to developing both creative, collaborative, and technical proficiency.

  • Alaska Teen Media Institute

The mission of the Alaska Teen Media Institute is to provide youth (ages 13-24) with the tools and training needed to produce stories and with the opportunity for their stories – told in their own voices – to be shared through a variety of media. ATMI believes the teen perspective is valuable and is under-represented.
